Warranty Coverage Details

We stand behind the structural integrity of our units. Explore our comprehensive warranty terms designed for Australian conditions.

Darling Downs Shipping Containers provides a professional warranty on all units, ensuring that every container sold or hired meets our high standards of quality and structural durability for various applications across Australia.

Our warranty specifically covers structural defects, including corner castings, door functionality, and weather-tightness. Coverage periods vary based on whether the container is new, refurbished, or used.

Section 3 – Australian Consumer Law
Section 4 – Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not apply to damage caused by misuse, unauthorized transport, ground subsidence, or natural disasters. Wear-and-tear items such as door seals and paint finish are excluded after the initial delivery inspection.

Modifications carried out by third parties after delivery will void the structural warranty. Any customization requested must be performed by Darling Downs Shipping Containers to remain eligible for coverage.

The property owner must ensure the container is placed on level, stable ground. Regular maintenance and inspections of seals and fittings are necessary to ensure the long-term longevity of the container.

Section 1 – Our Warranty Commitment
Section 2 – Warranty Coverage

Our units come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Section 5 – Modified Containers
Section 6 – Customer Responsibilities
