10ft Open Top Shipping Container
Some loads simply aren’t suited to being pushed through standard container doors. The 10ft Open Top Shipping Container solves that problem by allowing cargo to be lowered directly into the container from above.
Removing the permanent steel roof changes how the container can be loaded. Machinery, fabricated components, awkward equipment and other items that are difficult to manoeuvre horizontally can be handled by crane or suitable lifting equipment through the open roof area. Once loading is complete, a removable weather cover can be secured over the top where required.
At ground level, conventional cargo doors remain available for normal access. This combination gives operators two very different loading routes within a compact 10ft footprint.
Used units naturally carry evidence of previous service. Surface marks, faded paint and minor dents may be present, while the container remains selected for practical storage and handling use.

Load It From Above
The defining advantage here is access.
Instead of forcing a bulky object through the door aperture, lifting equipment can position suitable cargo vertically through the roof opening. This can dramatically simplify handling for equipment whose dimensions or shape make ordinary container loading difficult.
Close the Roof When Loading Is Finished
Open-top does not necessarily mean permanently exposed.
Where supplied, removable bows support a fitted cover across the upper opening. The cover can then be secured around the perimeter to provide weather protection appropriate to the container’s intended use.
